Steven Keith is a singer and guitarist from Norwalk, CT. He performs  solo acoustic and two-man shows throughout the tri-state area, at bars, restaurants, and community, private and corporate events. The music he plays encompasses popular music from the 60's and 70's through today. With his knack for storytelling and ability to connect to his audience through his personal experiences with music, he leaves his listeners feeling closer to the songs and the performer. 

Steve's musical journey started very early in life, growing up in a music loving family. His love and appreciation of music was nurtured by his parents and the world around him. His first memory of The Beatles was provided by a Yellow Submarine mobile hanging from the ceiling in his kindergarten classroom. A babysitter who would frequently bring a stack of records to play at the house, opened up a new world of artists to this young boy, that inevitably became his soundtrack for many years to come.

    Steve's high school years were filled with music; participating in Choir and Madrigal singers, as well as securing roles in the school's yearly broadway musical presentations. His first professional gig was at the age of 15, playing acoustic hits of the day with a friend. Steve would soon join up with an original band that pursued their dream of making it in the music business for over 2 decades. After starting a family in the early 90's, Steve continued to play in numerous cover bands throughout the 90's and 2000's, deciding to switch his focus towards solo acoustic performances in 2018. He quickly found himself playing at restaurants and bars in the Fairfield County area, securing a weekly residency at 3 local restaurants over the last 6 years. It was here that he honed his talent for storytelling, and engaging audiences with his smoky,whiskey soaked voice and easygoing nature.   

  2025 looks to be a busy one, with new venues and the new website,  www.slk-songs&stories.com, Steve hopes to grow the connection between the performer and his audience.
